Bridget Lerman, a true Valley girl, was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. She holds a Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of California Davis, where she ignited her passion for whole-person health.
After college, she dove into healthcare as a medical scribe, witnessing social determinants of health in action. Motivated by these experiences, she pursued a Master’s in Public Health in Community Health Sciences at the University of California Los Angeles and joined the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health as a Health Educator.
Bridget’s journey then led her to Aurora, Colorado, where she is now in her fourth year at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, eagerly preparing to apply for a pediatric residency. Her passion for pediatrics is deeply intertwined with her interests in lifestyle medicine, nutrition, and public health. Bridget is also dedicated to medical education, serving as the course leader for an elective she designed titled ‘Food Systems & Health,’ now being implemented for the second consecutive year for 1st-year medical students at her school.
Beyond medicine, Bridget enjoys gardening, rock climbing, hiking, and spending quality time with loved ones and her awesome dog, Queso.
