Eric’s superpower is caring for his fellow caregivers. Oncology nursing is intense by definition; calm and positivity are not always easy to summon. Eric, however, has an extraordinary ability to stay calm and positive no matter how challenging the day. He is especially determined to foster camaraderie and a sense of belonging within his unit.
As part of a wellness initiative, Eric found meditation resources to share with colleagues, and tried them himself first so he could share his own experiences. For the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Nurses’ Night Out, Eric organized his unit to attend, building friendships that continue to make the unit stronger. Eric is committed to setting everyone up for success by maintaining his composure and can-do attitude even in challenging or chaotic situations.
Eric is pursuing national board certification, demonstrating his commitment to lifelong learning and inspiring others to take action.
