Dr. Neil Lin is an Assistant Professor of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and Bioengineering at UCLA. Dr. Lin’s research looks at developing 3D-printed tissues that mimic the geometric structure, mechanical properties, and functionality of human organs. This research could lead to detailed and complex model tissues for drug screening, and ultimately, artificial organs that could be transplanted into humans. He received his PhD and MS from Cornell University and his BS from National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan.
