From her early work as a maternal health nurse to her subsequent roles as a faculty member, legal nurse expert, and risk management professional, Nikki Chuml has leveraged her diverse experiences to effectively connect with a wide array of staff, colleagues, and community members in pursuit of patient safety. Recognizing the importance of ongoing safety education for labor and delivery staff, Nikki initiated an annual series of Saturday courses focused on “near miss” events and medical malpractice cases, providing valuable opportunities for staff members to learn and improve their practice.  

Nikki is committed to cultivating exceptional nurses and is actively involved in teaching at nursing schools and providing clinical training opportunities. Her dedication to developing the next generation of nursing professionals is evident in her efforts to inspire and guide others in the field.
