Yaacov is a fourth-year medical student at Touro University Nevada, College of Osteopathic Medicine. Yaacov was born in Israel and, at a young age, moved with his family to Brooklyn, New York, where he was raised. He completed his undergraduate studies at Touro College in Los Angeles, earning a degree in psychology with a concentration in health sciences, while also achieving Rabbinical Ordination.
During medical school, Yaacov served as president of the Jewish Student Association for his first two years and actively engaged in various student-led clubs. He dedicated significant time to tutoring first and second-year medical students, helping them navigate the complexities of medical education. Beyond tutoring, Yaacov is committed to mentoring and guiding premed and medical students through their academic and professional journeys, offering support and teaching to foster their success.
Passionate about delivering high-quality care, Yaacov is determined to play an active role in the medical community. He aspires to be a role model, mentor, and advocate, helping patients better understand and manage their health through compassionate care and education. Outside of his academic and leadership roles, Yaacov enjoys practicing Muay Thai, hiking, cooking, and spending quality time with family and friends.
