Simms/Mann-UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology Expands Throughout Southern California

The Winter 2023 issue of U Magazine includes a letter from Johnese Spisso MPA, President of UCLA Health, highlighting the expansion of the Simms/Mann-UCLA Center for Integrative Oncology.

“We are honored to care for [our patients and their families] in mind, body, and spirit.”

Johnese Spisso, MPA

Started 25 years ago, the Simms/Mann Center was the first center of its kind in the nation to establish a model of integrative and holistic care for patients and their families touched by cancer.  With the support of the Simms/Mann Family Foundation, this model has expanded to 20 UCLA Health community cancer clinics throughout Southern California.

The Simms/Mann Center provides a unique resource to patients and their families, offering free psychosocial services, psychiatry, spiritual care, nutrition  guidance, and other integrative modalities.
