Desired Impact

The Foundation believes strongly in the unique power of the performing arts to impact lives, shape worldviews, and invite self-reflection, and works to make the performing arts accessible to our diverse Los Angeles community.

The Geffen welcomes an audience of more than 130,000 each year and maintains extensive education and community engagement programs that include programs specifically targeted to high school students, veterans, and families from vulnerable communities across Los Angeles. Victoria Mann Simms, PhD serves as a Founding Board Member of the Geffen. The Foundation supported the construction of the Geffen’s “Victoria and Ronald Simms Courtyard in Honor of Ted Mann” and continues to support the Geffen in its mission to inform, entertain, and inspire.
